  • Oh no, do you really think so?
  • I'm afraid this is going to explode when I add it.
  • Jade, you followed the instructions really well and I saw that you were very precise when you measured out the reactants.
  • Better you than me, Jade!
  • Hmmm, I was careful...the teacher believes I haven't messed up...I guess I'll give it a try....
  • Wow, it worked!
  • Jade, I know you were a bit nervous but you executed that experiment so well: your attention to the details in the instructions was first rate - you should be proud of yourself!
  • I did it! Well, I mean at least I didn't blow up the school!
