I have brought the King of France, father. This is King John II.
Very good, my son.

Battle of Agincourt
Ow. Help me!
The Hundred years war was a series of struggles between England and France over the claim to the French throne.
Joan of Arc
King Edward of England freed King John II for a ransom of three million crowns and land. When King Edward died, the son of the Black Prince, Richard II became King. Since he was young, there was peace between England and France.
Battle of Castillon
King Henry V was King of England and he wanted the throne of France. He invaded France and won the battle at Agincourt. He only had 6,000 soldiers but defeated 25,000 soldiers in France. Eventually, the French lost and King Charles VI became the heir to the throne.
The End of the 100 years war
In 1428 England invaded Southern France. They began a siege of the city of Orleans. However, a young peasant girl, Joan of Arc led the French army. She saw a vision from God. She led France to victory at Orleans in 1429 and many other battles. She was eventually captured by the English and burned at the stake.
The last major battle. England had 4,000 killed/wounded soldiers. France had about 100 losses. Charles captured the city on October 19 after a three-month siege. With Henry's bad mental health and the War of the Roses, England wasn't able to capture the French throne.
In France, Farmlands were destroyed, the population was decreased, famine and the Black Death made things worse. The end of feudal nobility let France unite more under the royal authority. In England, the results of the war led to an increase as a naval power.
