John Hancock was born in Braintree to a family of 4.
Suddenly his father got ill and died. The mother could not support the family, so she sent John and his siblings to different relatives.
John was sent to his rich uncle and he graduated Harvard and then started to work for his uncle.
Later, his uncle died and John inherited the company. But King George later passed the Sugar Act, and John got upset.
John later started to get involved in politics and fist joined the Long Room Club.
John Hancock later signed the decoration of independence.
