Creating an Application to communicate with volunteers will increase participation, commitment, and eventually income.
Volunteer with Maot Chitim
Maot Chitim Packing and Delivery Dates
Traditionally we could contact volunteers by sending them a post card or a letter for delivery. We weren't able to track how many cars would show up for Delivery.
With a new application, we can ask volunteers to sign up on line or by a computer. We can publicize the link through intsagram, facebook and twitter.
We can assign time, dates, and locations. With the new application, we can track our volunteers as well as our recipients. We can also send out reminder emails and any important updates.
With our new application we can track the delivery, and save time by printing each location with a geocode. Volunteers can scan the information, and a map will show up on their phone.
Less wait and clearer information makes for a Happier volunteer. A happier Volunteers is one who has a positive Jewish experience, will tell their friends, return to the program, and get more involved.
Increasing the number of Volunteers correlates to increasing involvement and donations.
