  • Stage: 1 complaining
  • you are not allowed to live here anymore this is a white only neighborhood.
  • Stage: 2 Protest
  • we will not let you speak to our kind like that.
  • we will talk to you the way we want .
  • The national party came from Netherland. They decided to gain control of south Africa. They put new limits on the blacks in the system.
  • Stage: 3 Revolution
  • no!!!!! Please!!!!!
  • The new apartheid laws were that it was illegal for blacks to live in certain places. They also couldn't work in certain places.
  • Stage: 4 Recovery
  • you are released from jail. You can leave now.
  • The African National Congress organized marches and other protests. The were set to fight against white democracy.

  • In the 1960s police fired on citizens in Sharpeville. Killing more than 60 people and having 180 people wounded.
  • F.W. De klerk was elected in 1989 to be the president of south Africa. He ordered the release of Nelson Mandela.
