  • Malcolm X is born Malcolm was born in Nebraska, and his name was Malcolm Little. His family later moved to Michigan.
  •  Malcolm is taken from his home Malcolm's mother became ill and was put in a mental hospital. Malcolm was taken from his home and placed in foster care. 
  • He finds his own way Malcolm moved to Boston to live with his half-sister, Ella. He became introduced to crime, and he got mixed up with some small crime. 
  • Over the years Malcolm found himself involved in a few different crimes. He was sentenced for them and ended up in prison, where he decided it was time to get an education.
  • While in prison, Malcolm converted to the Nation of Islam, which later gave him the "X" of Malcolm X  The FBI still be watching him . He gets marry another prison to Betty Sanders 
  • Malcolm lost his position as a leader when he made critical comments about President Kennedy's assassination. Malcolm had grown weary of the whites in America and was becoming more and more racist.
  • Malcolm was assassinated while giving a speech and over 20,000 people attended his funeral. Malcolm X has been praised for his work toward the rights of black Americans, as well as his work in civil rights for all people.
