  • The First Trade By: Mac Rayner 
  • In the 1600s ships from france and england can to what is now canada. 
  • apon arival they saided up the ST lawrence river. It was there where that they traded with the first nations.
  • the settlers traded guns and tools and the first nations trade food and animal fur. The goods that the settlers received were then sent back home.
  • The first nations took their good and traded with other first nations to get more pelts. This spread the goods around all of Canada.
  • This allowed the settlers to create towns and city and eventually become a country we know as Canada.
