Scene 1: Macbeth talks to Banquo and Macbeth convinces Banquo to stay on his side. It also shows that Macbeth doesn't trust Banquo.
Scene 1: Macbeth hallucinates about a floating dagger. He feels guilty because he is going to kill King Duncan.
Scene 2: Macbeth kills King Duncan and returns. He also brings back the daggers, however the plan is to leave them in Duncan's room. Lady Macbeth is mad and she has to put them back.
Scene 3: The next morning, they find out that King Duncan is dead.
Scene 3: Chaos is everywhere. Donalbain and Malcolm decide to flee separately for safety.
Scene 4: Ross and an old man talk about the strange things about king Duncan's death, Macduff arrives and let them know that Macbeth is going to be the new king.
