  • The exposition is when the protagonist tries to convince us that he's completely normal and that he's not crazy.
  • Climax
  • The conflict was that the protagonist  hated  the elderly mans eye, and thus, he decides to attempt to kill the elderly man.
  • Falling Action
  • The rising actions is when the man watches the elderly man sleep for seven nights and on the eight night he decides to go into his room.
  • Resolution
  • The climax is when the elderly man almost wakes up due to the noise and the   Protagonist pulls the bed on top of the elderly man, killing him.
  • The falling action is when the police comes to the elderly man's house and when the   protagonist  invites the officers into the house and starts to hear a heart beat.
  • The resolution is when the protagonist goes crazy and tells the police officers that he did kill the old man, leading to his arrest.
