Storyboard Text

  • call to action This was the first time I saw the bullying occur. A grumpy big kid was picking on a friend of mine who happened to be going through a death of his parent. As a bystander this was my call into action.
  • atonement with the father I first saw help from the guidance counselor in school to see how I could approach a situation like that without causing too much tension, and/or something worse. I was told to just leave it alone and tell an adult when I see it
  • first challenge The second time I saw the bullying occur I was paralyzed, after I told the adults, it still continued. It was hard to keep quiet and wait for an adult to come and intervene.
  • temptation Out on the playground, after witnessing another attack, I was tempted to just launch an all out attack of my own and stick up for my friend in need. No adult near by the urge was nearly killing me.
  • final conflict This was my last time witnessing this, I finally stood up, and fought.
  •  return home On a literal note, things went back to normal on the return home, very quiet, but peaceful.
