This storyboard does not have a description.
I am Elis the Erythrocyte. I am a type of blood cell in the formed element of blood. Me and my partners Lee the Leukocyte and Tina the Thrombocyte make up 45% of blood.
The other 55% is made up of plasma but, that isn't really important for what I am going to tell you.
You probably think being a blood cell is boring but, it's really not. We travel through the body like it is a never ending slide!
It isn't always fun though, sometimes we get sick. Cells like me can become sick and our body can develop Sickle Cell Disease. Our if I don't produce rapidly enough, Anemia.
And when my buddy Lee the leukocyte gets sick he produces too rapidly and can cause his body to get Leukemia, a form of cancer. If he doesn't produce rapidly enough it can cause neutropenia which makes them more susceptible to infection.
