  • Hi! I’m gonna teach you about cell division.
  • The first phase is prophase. 
  • Prophase is when the nuclear envelope dissolves, and the chromosomes are exposed.
  • The second stage is metaphase.
  • Metaphase is when is when duplicated chromosomes line up, and become attached to spindle fibers.
  • The third stage is anaphase.
  • Anaphase is when sister chromatids separate and move toward the centrioles.
  • The fourth phase is telophase.
  • Telophase is when chromosomes begin to unwind and the nuclear envelope reforms.
