Edith Goldberg lived in a small Jewish Village in Teshnsochsel, Germany with her father, mother Kaiserslautern and younger sister Frankfurt.
FOR WHAT REASON DO YOU COME HERE!!
Please I am begging you sir release them they have a family to take care of that misses them
No worries take care of your father for me while i'm gone I won't be long
When the Natzi group began to gain power they invaded Jewish communities one being Edith's home, they took all there belongings and left them with nothing.
Mother where are you going?
Father are you okay?
I just need some time alone Frankfurt.
We love you guys everything will be alright.
Jews began to flee there homes in fear that everything would escalate but Edith and her family couldn't leave because her mother had elders to take care of.
Lets go children we have to catch the ferry and from there we are getting on a train and deleviering you to your foster parents remember you can only carry one bag Nazi soldiers will be checking.
What is going on?
Edith's family stayed behind and not long after her father and uncle where taken away and put into concentration camps such a Auschwitz. Kaiserslautern convinced Nazi soldiers to release them so they could go back to there family.
After Edith's father returned home he did not speak a word of his expierence at Auschwitz. Kaiserslautern knew it would be dangerous if her children stayed so she began looking for a way to get her children out the country.
Kaiserslautern found a home for her children in Leeds where they would be taken care of by two different foster families. Each child went to a different home Edith went with Mrs.Craskin and her family and Frankfurt was taken in by the Bloomfield's. They weren't separated far apart, they ended up being neighbors.
