Storyboard Text

  • China submits a matter to arbitration to the League of Nations.
  • League does not respond right away, however, finally send a fact finding commission - Lytton commisson.
  • The commission takes their sweet time of several months to arrive in China and then several months to report.
  • We agree Japan was not acting in self-defense yet China is responsible. We've done our job who cares what and why it actually happened.
  • Meanwhile, trade and financial relations were not severed with Japan.
  • Japan continued to control  Manchuria while the other League members remained to protecting their own interests.
  • When the other members finally started to condem Japan's aggression Japan left the League.
  • Goodbye everyone. I'll remember you all in therapy.
