  • When Mariah got home from school at 2:40 she got a snack,  and then she started her homework. After she got done her homework, she eats dinner; then goes to relax a bit. (compound sentence)
  • Climax
  • Mariah was sitting at home, when she decided to go for a drive to get her mind of of things; she got mad so she wanted to go for a drive but when she went to get her keys they were gone.
  • Falling action
  • so she got up to look for her keys but when she got up she noticed that they were not where she had recently placed them. (Complex) So she had said to her mom, "Mom do you know where my keys are?" and she had responded with "No honey, the last time I had saw them they were on the table in the  living room". She had made a grimace expression to that response.  She had wondered, "where could I have put them?"
  • Resolution
  • So, she decided to keep looking for the keys for the next twenty minutes, but she still couldn't find them! So she had decided to sit down and take a break and think of where they could be at. She again thought, "  where could i have put them?"
  • She was freaking out about how she had lost her keys, but then she got really mad when she had found out that her little sister had hid them from her up in the attic 
  • When she got possession of the keys, she still was upset at the fact that her sister had hid them from her. she still decided to go for a drive though.
