Storyboard Text

  • 25 years ago...Miss Mckinney, the new teacher of the school was found dead at the schoolyard. Robert, one of her students was found at the scene. Everybody thought that Miss Mckinney was accidentally hit by a car but today evidence support that she was murdered.
  • Today...One of the students finds Miss Mckinney's car keys hidden in an old wardrobe of the school and he realizes that her death was not caused by a car accident. He goes to the police department and he asks them to reopen the cold case as he suspects that Miss Mckinney was murdered.
  • The diary of the victim is also found in the library. The first step towards examining the case is to collect evidence coming directly from the victim.
  • The superior police investigator decides to reopen the case to investigate whether Miss Mckinney was murdered. The first thing to be done is to inform the father of the victim about the case.
  • At this stage, students (investigators) role play interviews regarding Miss Mckinney’s murder. The teacher, is the superior police investigator and she will rehearse the interview she has given to the father of the victim so you will be trained on how to interview the suspects and witnesses.
  • Police investigators visit the crime scene to collect clues related to the murder and then they interview the suspect and witnesses. They are given cue cards to guide them to conduct the interviews and eventually discover who murdered Miss Mckinney.
