- This is a factory that will be sold to a rich Japanese family that will start a business and improve the factory.
- Now I'm able to go to school and get a good education.
- I'm so happy the government allowed girls to get educated.
- The Meiji reformers decided that we should adopt the German government system since it's very stable. The greater majority of the power goes to the emperor.
- We now have railroads, more advanced ports,a banking system, and a telegraph and postal system.
- The Japanese economy is booming!!
- Did you hear about the military leaving to invade other countries?
- Yes I did, Japan is in need of natural resources and raw materials that other countries can provide.
- The year is 1931 and we are on our way to take over Manchuria. We hope that our next stop will be Korea.
