A 2nd year student of University of Calgary, majoring in Accounting, opens her D2L account to see what is a required textbook she needs in her course Accounting 323. She learns that she needs Managerial Accounting edition 11th.
Oh! I can buy used textbooks at a cheaper price using Texter.
She searches the textbook online she needs in her class.
It's a match!
As she look up online for the textbook, she determined that all new textbook retails around $150 to $200, and she finds it too expensive.
The student suddenly remembered an app her friend recommended to her called Texter. An app where people sell their used textbook at a cheaper price. All she has to do is to put the title of the textbook, author and/or edition and the app will match her to a seller who sells Managerial Accounting edition 11th.
The student enters the title of the textbook and the author, and finds another student who sells the textbook she is looking for. The student left a message saying that she is interested to buy the used textbook at the given price.
*Opens Texter and searching for Managerial Accounting*
Intead of buying a new textbook, the student bought the used textbook using Texter and she was delighted because she saved a lot of money.
