Police arrested 8 leaders of labor movements. On August 20, 1886 all were found guilty & were to be hung except one. The Governor changed the sentence of 2 to prison for life.
On November 10, Louis Lingg, accused of throwing the bomb was found with his head blown. The next day, November 11, 1887, Adolph Fischer, George Engel, Albert parson, and August Spice were hung.
