Storyboard Text

  • Good morning class! Today we are going to understand the importance on conserving water. Let's think about this, how much water do you think you use on a daily basis?
  • Very good, Jessica.
  • I'd say I use about fifty gallons of water or more a day.
  • Toilet Washing hands Showering Drinking water
  • Now, I want everyone to monitor and record the amount of water you will use for the rest of the day. Here is your chart that you will need to fill in by tomorrow.
  • We will share results tomorrow.
  • I use the toilet and drink water from the fountain.
  • Excellent class.
  • I use water to wash my hands, shower, and brush my teeth.
  • Afterwards, everyone will come up with a plan on how we can conserve more on water and then we'll share ideas with the rest of the class.
  • One way to conserve on water is turning off the water while brushing your teeth.
  • We can also take shorter showers.
