Storyboard Text

  • This idea haunted me day and night! I loved the old man...
  • He's been thinking about something that has been tormenting him.
  • I think it's his eye! I have to get rid of that eye.
  • Until he finally found out...
  • He entered the house, opening the door "oh, so gently!" Also, holding a lantern with him.
  • When the narrator was in the house (the eighth night) he chuckled at a thought he had, and the old man awakened.
  • He dragged him onto the floor, and pulled the heavy bed over him. He was now dead.
  • "Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed! - tear up the planks! - here, here! - it is the beating of his hideous heart!"
  • There was a knock on the door, it was the police. The police was playing along with the narrator, but he couldn't take it any longer.
