  • In Lower Canada the Chateau Clique has most of the political power. The Chateau Clique's main focus was primarily the wealthy.
  • The taxes are being raised. It's unfair!
  • The British government received "The 92 Resolutions" from Papineau who was a member of the Legislative Assembly. They denied his "ideas" causing riots and problems.
  • We need nation of American democracy!
  • We need it for this nation!
  • Papineau holds speaches for the people and a radical group called the Sons of Liberty is formed.
  • The Battle of Saint-Denis was fought between British colonial authorities under Lieutenant-Colonel Gore and Patriot rebels. The Patriots were victoriously led by Wolfred Nelson. It lasted 7 hours and ended because they ran out of gun powder.
  • Papineau feared arrest and fled to the United States border.
  • The manor of St. Charles is attacked by a loyalist force. The patriots are defeated and this is the end of the Rebellion in Lower Canada!
