Job’s friends Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar visit him, sitting with him in silence for seven days out of respect for his mourning. However, on the seventh day, Job starts a conversation and they talk about their thoughts about Job.
Job’s final response to God.
Job's friends unintentionally insult him making it as though he deserved what God had done to him and more. They tried to make his suffering more tolerable but they end up just irritating him more so he calls them, “worthless physicians.”
Job intercedes on his friend's behalf before God.
Job is frustrated because he doesn't know why God is doing the terrible things to him so he starts to question God. God comes to him and shows him how much he knows and how little Job knows, in order to put him back into his place.
Job’s life restored and given blessings for his faith.
Job sees that God is all-powerful and all-knowing so he humbly submits to God. He admits that he was foolish and he takes the blame.
God was unpleased with what his friends said about God but Job intercedes for them. Because of Job, God forgives his friends.
God then gave Job all of the things he took away from him including more property, children, and a very long and happy life.
