Storyboard Text

  • Alright class, today we are going to create a social media post that summarizes Louis Riel and the Red River Rebellion.
  • I like using video, can I make a Tik Tok of the main events?
  • I like to write, can I pretend to be different key people having a discussion over Twitter?
  • I like images, can I make a series of pictures for Instagram?
  • Sounds great, I love all the different uses of Social Media!
  • Can we add you on our social media and share our finished assignment that way?
  • Ya!!
  • Nope, when you are done I want the finished product sent to me by email in a video, image, or written document.
  • Can we post it to our own social media when it's done?
  • Off they went, students were excited to mix history with their social media! Although, the teacher had to keep a keen eye out for those who were scrolling through their social media and watching cat videos for "inspiration".
  • I think that's great! But remember other peoples' privacy. If someone shows up in your image or video, get their permission before posting.
