  • South African Revolution
  • Stage 0: Acceptance
  • Stage 1: Complaining

  • Stage 2: Protest
  • -The Dutch founded Cape Colony. -Used as a supply for ships in the West Indies. - The British had possession of Cape Colony ( took it from the Dutch).
  • Stage 3: Revolution
  • -Blacks ( Africans) were not given the same rights as whites (Afrikaans). - Nelson Mandella did not think this was fair. He stood up for what he believed in, but it did not end well.
  • Stage 4: Recoery
  • Africa          =          Africaan
  • -The ANC fought the Apartheid. The ANC broke the laws of Apartheid so the government banned them. - All races of people protested the apartheid. -Strikes, marches, and other protests.
  • -The government arrested Nelson Mandella. -South Africa as soon named  Republic - People everywhere demanded Mandella be freed. - President De Klerk Release Mandella in the 1990's.
  •                         -A reform was promised to all.                     -Also open race elections were held                 Blacks, whites, and colored people were all started to be treated more equal.
