King Midas is at a shelter. He is so happy that he found a shelter because he lost his house. A fairy came along and asked if he can turn into gold. She asked if he was sure. He was alright because he really wanted gold. Now everything he touched now turns into gold.
"Can I turn into gold?"
"Are you sure about that?"
King Midas is now in the shelter and he needs to fall asleep so he can try and find his home. The bed he is laying on is about to turn to gold. He is happy that he can rest now in peace.
In the morning when King Midas woke up he found a statue of owls. Then he wanted to walk around to see if he could find his house. Then he finally found his house so then he went inside and he touched just one thing and it turned into gold. Then he started touching everything in his house and it all turned to gold. Then he got upset because when he touched his daughter she turned into a golden statue.
Now King Midas learned his lesson that he doesn't want to turn into gold. He wants that because he knows that if he is gold anything he touches turns into gold.
