Storyboard Text

  • Stage 1:
  • We'll pay you back tomorrow.
  • If you don't pay up this month I'll have to beat it out of you
  • Stage 2:
  • You two are to get into serious trouble if you hustling the way you do.
  • Stage 3:
  • Bryon and Mark owed Charlie $3 on their bill from all the Cokes they bought. Mark told Charlie he'd have the money the next day, but this worried Bryon because he wasn't sure of where they were going to get the money from. They did end up paying Charlie back to avoid the risk of getting beat up by him.
  • Stage 4:
  • Mark and Bryon knew that if they kept hustling, they were going to get into some serious trouble. Two Texans came into Charlie's bar and played the boys in a game of pool, but they lost to the boys. Charlie warned them about hustling the guys, but they didn't listen. This resulted in Charlie's death in the end.
  • Stage 5:
  • Angela Shepard asked someone to pick a fight with Ponyboy Curtis. Mark was trying keep the fight fair. but ended up getting seriously hurt while doing so. When Bryon found out, this angered him.  He spotted the guy who hurt Mark and told him that WAS going to get revenge for what he did.
  • Conclusion:
  • Bryon found some drugs under Mark's bed one night. Bryon got so mixed with what happened with M&M and realized that Mark doesn't know right from wrong. So, he felt as if calling the cops was the only way to get Mark to realize that what he was doing was wrong.
  • Mark hot-wired the principle's car because he needed to go see his probation officer. Even though he still got arrested , his  probation officer and principle weren't angry with him because he had a good reason as to why he did. So, Mark was let go. 
  • Both Mark and Bryon changed in the end. Mark was sent to prison because he couldn't behave in the reformatory after being arrested for sealing drugs.  Bryon got a job, lost contact with about all of his friends, and continued to work on his future. Bryon became more independent and mature. Mark was still had trouble with recovering from his past.
