This storyboard does not have a description.
Mathew was sitting in the diner one day reading a virtual book on his weird Pac-Man Laptop, (that is the trend of laptops right now don't judge me) but he was looking for the central idea and sadly, couldn't find it. While Mathew was sitting there, kind of frustrated, a waiter wearing a winter coat came up. (not Gary, the guy walking by.)
(It was snowing but Mathew was one of those weird people.) "What's the matter man" the Waiter said. "Well i'm looking for the theme, or central idea whatever you want to call it, but I can't find it." "Well..." the Waiter said, "What's your book?" "The Giver" Mathew said. "So there's many different themes for this but we'll just use one. Choice is essential to human happiness
is a theme that is, multiple times, developed throughout the book. Different experiences or shifts in the book, like when Jonas met The Giver. The Giver gave him all of these memories so he could really understand what his community was like. While he was learning this he found out there was no freedom of choice in his community. There are other experiences like that if you look.
