  • Medusa's Pledge
  • I hear by pledge my self to maiden ship, in the name of Athena, goddess of wisdom.
  • Forgetting that pledge
  • OMG OMG OMG!!!
  • OMG OMG OMG!!!
  • Do I have to be here?
  • Sad Athena
  • There goes another one.
  • Medusa was a Beautiful young girl who was a follower of Athena. And had pledged maiden ship in her name.
  • Boasting
  • I am the best! i'm married to a god, and i am the most beautiful, even more so than Athena!
  • But when she met Poseidon (god of the sea) she soon forgot her pledge and married him.
  • Angry Athena
  • Oh, no you don't!!!!
  • This saddened the goddess to see one of her followers marry. But she forgave her and let her live on with Poseidon, out of kindness.
  • A Curse to Remember
  • AHHHHHH!!!
  • Medusa became too in love with herself and her life. She even boasted about how she was even more beautiful than Athena herself.
  • This was the last straw for Athena. She was so enraged she decided that putting a curse on Medusa was the only way to teach her a lesson.
  • The goddess made Medusa's long silky hair turn to visious snakes, and her smooth skin to wrinkled green blisters. She was so ugly that if someone was to look at her they would turn to stone.
