Storyboard Text

  • "Spare me! You forget nothin' and forgive nothin'. Learn charity, woman. I have gone tiptoe in this house all seven month since she is gone. "
  • Act 2 In the home of the Proctors, John and Elizabeth discuss the many events unfolding in their lives. Elizabeth is cold towards John due to previous affairs with Abigail Williams. 
  • "John, you are not open with me. You saw her with a crowd, you said. Now you-"
  • "Oh, Elizabeth, your justice would freeze beer!"
  • " I do not judge you. The magistrate sits in your heart that judges you."
  • "I made a gift for you today, Goody Proctor. I had to sit long hours in a chair, and passed the time with sewing."
  • Mary Warren enter the house. Mary works for the Proctors. Mary has just come from the court house in which she is an official of the court.
  • "Why, thank you, it's a fair poppet."
  • "Mary. Is it true? There be fourteen women arrested?"
  • "No, sir. There be thirty-nine now." (Starts to cry)
  • "Why, she's weepin'! What ails you, child?"
  • "I saved your life today!" 
  • "I am accused? Who accused me?"
  • "I cannot say." 
  • "Go to bed!!"
  • "Oh the noose, the noose is up."
