Over the coarse of learning about how life was during this time period it really got me thinking about how life has changed from then to know and how lucky I was to have my freedom and rights.
I would go home after school, and I would always talk to my mom about what I was leaning in my social studies class and how lucky I was to have my freedom and also I was lucky I was able to get an education and to grow up and be what I want to be ,unlike Saudi Arabia and how women that lived there were not treated equally to men at all and they did not have a lot of freedom.
Before bed I would always think about how life could be different without my freedom and how it could have effected me but also how it effects me now.
At this point after finishing the unit I realized how much I value my freedom and that I think everyone deserves to be treated equally and as well as there rights.I value my freedom because without it I would not be able to do most the things I am doing like getting an education after school activities as well as swimming without it I would not have an education and I would not be able to do the things i want to do when I am older like voting. So over the period of being in this class I learned to value my freedom and my rights
