  • Etruscan influence of engineering on the Romans
  • Rome was located in Italy, witch meant it was on a peninsula. Rome was also located on islands that were in southern Europe. 
  • Etruscan influence of sports on the Romans
  • When Romulus and Remus were babies someone broke into their home and kidnapped them and put them in a river. Then after a while a pack of wolves found them, took them, and raised them. Then an old man found them and raised them until they got older, then built a empire. They fought over if it should be named Rome or Reme. Then they got into a fight and Remus died so it was named Rome. 
  • Greek influence of architecture on the Roman civilization
  • Two important Etruscan structures the Romans adapted were the arch and the cuniculus.  
  • Greek influence of writing
  • Romans also adapted two bloody Etruscan sporting events. The first was slave fighting. Etruscan spectators also enjoyed watching chariot events.  
  • Greek architecture was one important influence on the Romans.  The Romans used Greek designs in their own public buildings.    
  • Greek and Roman alphabet were very similar. Romans were inspired by Greek poetry and myths.
