In the woods near her hometown, a young hunter named Felicity was hiding behind some plants, hoping to find a deer to bring back to her father.
The only difference was how peaceful it looked, as in the tales it was a vicious beast who murdered passing hunters.
Just then, she spotted a gray creature sleeping. It reminded her of the ancient tales of a fiend who lives in the forest.
Quickly thinking and acting, Felicity decided to capture the beast swiftly and bring it back to her village. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that she didn't want to lose.
She quickly grabbed the beast in her net and brought the fiend to an unused room where she installed bars. it looked at her pitifully and howled continuously after her while she went to tell her father.
"I found the fiend from the tales! I've kept him in the basement inside a cage."
We can make a fortune from this!
As soon as her father came home she told him of what had happened and his eyes lit up whilst thinking of the money they could make with the fiend.
Felicity and her father decided to keep the beast secretly in their basement as to prevent theft until they could sell it and use the money.
Felicity would often visit the beast to talk and he enjoyed these visits very much. He was a very good listener and would also tell her of his journeys with hunters in this village. Felicity wouldn't admit it, but she had grown quite fond of the fiend and resented parting with him.
