Storyboard Text

  • Have you ever noticed how in books, sometimes the chapter ends at a dramatic or awkward spot between two characters and then wonder how it would've gone in real life when there is no pause to end the stream of words?
  • If being Maria was a job the description would most likely include being imaginative and maybe a hair over on the crazy scale. She was a wonderer. Some call them magic and so unreal. They may wish, but they aren't. They have minds that see things in a light the is different. Perhaps that light is blue, red, or orange. Maybe its a blue-green-purple color called Els'twi. Or maybe thats not what was meant at all.
  • I don't know. Sorry.
  • Woah! Slow down. Where did that even come from?
  • It was only a suggestion. The people in the city could use a day where they run the government. Especially the kids. Whats so wrong with that.
  • She didn't want to see what people called common sense because they were saying everyone should know not to stick their hand on a hot stove but if you don't know it's going to hurt then, if they don't know it's to hot to touch and even if it had hurt before how would you learn it ever cooled if you didn't try again. Maria saw the world in the eyes of a child. Everything new, everything of value, and everyone acceptable because what two are every truly the same?
  • oh maria...just understand
  • Maria, your crazy idea are going to get you in trouble. You cant start questioning things that have always been.
  • right before sleep was her favorite time to think and muse over what shed thought today. Not this night however. The day with her friends had been trying as they doubted her brains ability and felt her craziness leaked to much. Maria personally loved her oddities but her wondering was becoming a background noise and she wasn't fond of the turn of events.
  • why does my idea always get shot down. yes, maybe sometimes I'm looney and unrefined but that doesnt have to mean my ideas are. What if someone decided one day they didn't like carpet and instead of turning to tile or hard wood they decided to install trampoline floors that bounced you and were so comfortable to land on that is felt like a squishy feather caressing your feet and sending you flying.
  • once, when she was a little girl, she had believed she would play soccer in the stars with a team of skeletons and princesses. That was when she'd became crazy to everyone else.
  • But she, she would never believe that people ignorant of her thoughts could really know crazy, and hey, aren't we all a little crazy
  • Here! Pass here!
  • We have let ourselves wonder. Even though we grow we still appreciate like it's the first time ever. You wonder about the firsts...the first person to have a stuffed animal, the first person who looked into the eyes of a snake and said he couldn't be worse then a sea serpent.
  • To Them we are crazy. It is not so. We are the dreamers, the creators of your escapes from the world. Non-wonderers are only the non-lookers, or the people with potential and mind but not experience.
  • Do us wonderers a favor and close your eyes. Think of the first thing that pops into your head. Focus on this new bang and...ponder. wonder what it would be like without something, imagine an invention that was made and try to replace it. If you can, be extremely impractical. Who said you have to have practical fantasies. No seriously, who? I think i need to talk to them. I mean listen it isn't fantasy if it doesn't take you away from the world and give you something new. Its just a twisted reality. I mean just think...alright, even i know enough is enough. just give it a try and forget the rest. Don't let them doubt you like i always have, as i have just shown you.
  • Imagination comes when you are comfortable and you relax your mind a let it drift. Sitting back, taking a long deep breath and pondering the first thing you think of is a great way to start. You must have wondered sometime in your life about why a word is spelled a certain way and why that object was given a sound that was given meaning.
