  • Monsoon
  • Yangtze and Yellow River
  • Indus and Ganges River
  • Monsoons are seasonal that last for many months and bring heavy rain or dry air. 
  • Taklimakan and Gobi Desert
  • The Yangtze river is 3,400 miles long making it the China's longest river which is used for transportation and hydroelectricity. The Yellow river is used for transportation. This river is actually yellow from all the Gobi desert dust.
  • Himalaya Mountain Range
  • The Indus river gives the valley the richest soil for farming in Asia. The Ganges river carries rich sediments that creates a large fertile delta that many people work on.
  • Korean Peninsula
  • The Taklimakan Desert is over 600 miles in length, which makes it the one of the longest deserts in the world. The Gobi desert can be one of the hottest or coldest place in the world. This desert is mostly covered by sand and rocks.
  • The mountains form a barrier between India and the countries to the north and east of India. The mountain range stretches 200 miles. Mount Everest is found in the Himalayan Mountains.
  • The Korean Peninsula is bordered by the Yellow sea and the Sea of Japan. Over half the peninsula is covered by mountains while the other half has plenty of rich farmland.
