  • Rising Action
  • In the olden times there lived a semi-barbaric king. He was a man of exuberant fancy, and untrammeled, as became half of him which was barbaric. Every time there was a subject accused of doing a crime on an appointed day the fate of the accused person was decided in the king's arena. The subject would be forced to pick an entrance. The subject would be found guilty if he had chosen the entrance of a hungry tiger or the subject would be not guilty if he had chosen the entrance of a lady waiting for her groom.
  • Climax
  • The king had a beautiful daughter whose soul was fervent and imperious as his. She was happily in love with a young boy for many months. Until the king found out then the boy was immediately sent to prison. Of course everyone would have known of this affair so the young boy was appointed to have his fate decided in the kings arena.
  • Falling Action
  • It was the day the youth's fate was decided by the entrances that he would choose. Whether he was found guilty or not guilty based on his decision. Would he choose the entrance with the lady waiting for her groom or the hungry tiger waiting for flesh and blood?
  • Resolution
  • The King and Princess was there of course to see what the man would choose, but as we all know the princess knew which doors were the lady or the tiger in.
  • The youth have known the princess knew where the lady of the tiger was. So he looked at the princess for the answer as if he was yelling which door. The princess raised her right hand up to show him which door was with the lady. She had hated the lady she grew more jealous by the thought of the lady marrying her lover. She had found herself in the thought of raising her right hand when really she never answered him.
  • Did jealousy overcome their love? Or did love conquer through jealousy? Was she happier with the boy dead? Or was the princess happier with the man happily married with another woman? So what did the princess choose the lady or the tiger?
