Storyboard Text

  • Women in the War
  • I am Esther Reed, and I helped fundraise for the Americans during the war, and inspired many women to fundraise also.
  • Native Americans in the War
  • Should I side with the Patriots, the British, or just stay neutral?
  • Africans in the War
  • We used our naval skills to help out our sides during the War!
  • Women may not have mostly fought in battles in the American Revolutionary War, but they still played a pivotal role by providing many types of help such as: spying, and fundraising.
  • Foreign-Born Heroes of the Revolution
  • I, Baron Von Stueben helped train the American soldiers and turn them into men.
  • Native Americans were supporting both sides (and of course neutrality) during the war. The Native Americans put their lives in danger for exchange of goods, land, and power.
  • Espionage/Intelligence Gathering
  • I'm spying on a British/Loyalist household to get information for the Patriots!
  • Africans played a pivotal role in the American Revolutionary War in many ways. They were able-bodied seamen and were good with boats, which provided both sides with Naval Power during the War.
  • Weapons/Tactics/Military Life
  • Naval transport/tactics were used a lot during the American Revolutionary War.
  • Foreign-Born Heroes came to America to help during the War. They mainly helped by training the soldiers, helping America financially, and combat.
  • Spies on both sides played a pivotal role during the American Revolutionary War to get information about the opposing side. This included using invisible ink, masked letters, and ciphers & codes.
  • Weapons, Tactics and Military Life were main contributing factors to help either side during the American Revolutionary War. Depending on the strength and durability of a weapon, it could affect a whole battle in a sense.
