The DDT, acronym for Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, it belongs to halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon family. It's made from the condesation of carboxylic acid (R-COOH), aldehyde (R-COH) and chlorobenzene (C6H6Cl).
STOP USING THE DTT!!!! IT'S KILLING US!
During the '40s and '50s , DDT was the best insecticide and it killed the insects who carried malaria disease.
DDT has saved 5 milion people from death caused by malaria disease
On the other end, the DDT was such a strong insecticide that extinguished a variety of insects; also it had a hard impact of the environment: in fact it's very toxic and dangerous.
