  • LIzzi goes upstairs to check on Jane while the others continue to talk.
  • With her situation, she will never be settled.
  • She looked almost wild this morning.
  • Lizzi rejoins them and they discuss what makes an accomplished woman.
  • I wonder at how you know any woman such as that.
  • I cannot boast of knowing more that half a dozen women that are really accomplished.
  • An accomplished woman must have a knowledge of music, singing, drawing, dancing, etc.
  • Mrs. Bennet comes to Netherfield and checks on Jane., wanting her to be sick enough to stay.
  • She is much too ill to be moved.
  • Jane can stay here with us.

  • While talking, Mrs. Bennet and Darcy argue about the variety of character in the country.
