As Chief Administrator, the president is in charge of the executive branch of government. He is is charge of cabinet, as well as many groups and officials. The executive branch is checked by the other branches through the governments system of checks and balances.
The Chief Diplomat role centers into the idea that the president is ahead of foreign affairs. He talks to and negotiates with other countries officials. All of the Presidents actions are monitored by the United States, but also by other countries.
