Storyboard Text

  • Once upon a time in the dragon kingdom of Vergamott there lived a young dragon named Gaia. Gaia was no ordinary dragon. She was known as a forbidden dragon due to her lack of wings.
  • As much as I hate to admit it, you speak the truth Scar. Set the council meeting and take her away tonight. I do not want to see her again. Leave now!
  • One day The Dragon Master got a visit from his three right hand dragons named Scar, Glacier and Viper.
  • Master we must get rid of the wingless dragon Gaia before the other nations discover she is your child. She has no use to us in time of war. Let Viper, Glacier and I rid you of her burden.
  • Shortly after the council meeting Scar, Viper and Glacier took her away to a far away forest to live by herself. Although Gaia was sad, deep down she knew everything would be ok.
  • Gaia was left all by herself in a vast and desolate forest. Tears streamed off her and splashed on the ground. The splashing of her tears caught the attention of a near by fairy. The fairy approached Gaia and asked her what was wrong. Gaia told her the whole story. The story made the fairy distraught and pity the young dragon. Eventually the fairy decided to grant Gaia one wish.
  • Dear child, let me grant you one wish. What would you like young one?
  • I would like to have wings so I can go home. I just want to be loved and accepted.
  • I'm sorry darling. I let their bad thoughts cloud my mind. They will be punished for this! I just hope our beautiful daughter comes home
  • HOW COULD YOU BE SO NAIVE ZORO! You should've known they wanted the throne after you! I can't believe you let them abandon our only child in such a cold-hearted place.
  • My dear child! Welcome home! I am deeply sorry for exiling you. I hope you can forgive me in time.
  • It's ok Father. I forgive you. When you exiled me it taught me to accept dragons for who they are not for who others what them to be. I'm actually happy that you exiled me. Not only did I make a friend, I also got wings! I'm so happy I'm home now.
