Lydia's friend starts asking about whether the food will be halal or not as Lydia's Chinese relatives eat pork. Lydia seems to be annoyed.

House (Bedroom) - Night Narrator is narrating after this scene. Lydia is getting ready to recite the Quran as her father peers inside, asking her to hurry. Moments after her father leaves, her mother interrupts and asks her to go study for her quiz. Lydia is confused on who she should listen to.
