  • I will bury him; and if I must die, I say that this crime is holy: I shall lie down with him in death
  • I have no strength to break laws that were made for the public good. I am sorry Antigone
  • I shall be hating you soon, and so will the dead. Leave me my foolish plan. 
  • Go then if you feel you must. You are unwise; impossible things should not be tried at all
  • Polyneices, I will ensure you are buried to have a peaceful afterlife. 
  • Creon has finished delivering his speech to the city of Thebes. Creon has declared that Eteocles is a hero; For, he died for his country. Polyneices, who broke his exhile, shall not be buried. As official the King, he sits on his throne. 
  • Polyneices will suffer in the afterlife for breaking his exhile. Let his body rot.
  • King Creon, Polyneices has been buried by an unknown individual.
  • You incompetent fool! I gave you one task! Who dared to bury that wretched peon. Speak now!
  • Antigone!
  • I dared to defy you!
  • You! How dare you disobey your King. A woman!
