El Bronx: The Wrong Lunch Line
By mathat10, Updated
This storyboard does not have a description.
Yvette and Mildred waited anxiously for the bell to ring for lunchtime.
When the bell rang the two girls went to get lunch because today was Passover. They never ate together because Yvette always ate school lunch while Mildred ate home lunch but today that was going to change.
While in the line for the Passover food Yvette thought to herself, "I hope no one asks me nothing" because she's Hispanic and not Jewish.
As they enter the lunchroom, Yvette asks Mildred all about Passover and what it's about and Mildred explains it to her.
As they were eating a teacher saw Yvette eating at the Jewish table when she wasn't supposed to and got in trouble.
The teacher told Yvette to come with her to Mrs. Ralston's office and got in trouble and by the time she left the office lunchtime was over.
