  • The Door is like a cell membrane because it allows the customers in and out of the salon, similar to how it allows the parts of the cell to go in and out.

  • The outside walls/structure of the building is like the cell wall because it keeps unwanted things from entering the salon, like it keeps unwanted things from entering the cell. 
  • The electric box is like the mitochondria because it provides energy and power in the salon, like it provides energy in the cell. 
  • The hair stylist is like the ribosome because it creates what the client needs, similar to how ribosomes create proteins that the cell needs
  • The client is like the E.R. rough and smooth because he helps the stylist create the design he wants, like the E.R. provides support in the cell.
  • The cabinets are like the Golgi apparatus because they store things and can be taken out and held inside, like it stores things in the cell that can be taken out and put in.
  • The manager's office is like the nuclear membrane because it is where the manager is and works, like where the nucleus is and works in the cell.
  • The Nucleus is like the manager of the salon because the salon wouldn't function without her. Similar to how a cell wouldn't function without a nucleus. 
  • The framework of the salon is like the cytoskeleton because it gives the salon its shape and structure, as it does in the cell.
  • The whole atmosphere around and in the salon is like the cytoplasm because everything is in it, like how the organelles and other things in the cell are in the cytoplasm.
