Storyboard Text

  • It's ok, by the way have you revised for the test on the Digestive system?
  • The Digestive System? I kinda lost my knowledge about that topic. Is it possible to refresh on that?
  • It all starts at the mouth. They mechanically break and chow down the food you take in. Your tongue and salivary glands produce saliva to help to push down the food.
  • It's pushed into the oesophagus where it's aided by the muscular contractions within the peristalsis. They' re also located in the intestine.
  • The stomach contracts, relaxes to churn food. Mixed with gastic juice from glands in the stomach. While the liver makes bile to neutralises stomach acid or emusifies fats.
  • Gallbladder stores it, while Pancreas can produce a range of digestive enzymes. Like Protease, lipases, carbs.
  • In the small intestine,  the duodenum has digestive juices secreted fro the pancreas and the walls. The ileum helps in absorption of food.
  •  Reabsorption of water, ions like sodium. And finally your Rectum, discharges undigested material from digestive tract. Faceas are stored here and egested in the anus.
  • Don't forget how to draw it and labelling it parts.
  • Slow down. Let me remember this as I write some notes on this.
  • The Next Day at the gym
  • I ate that Cheese Tostie so quick, pain in my belly.  *pants*
  • Yes, an A-  for the test, i'm never doing last minute revision for tests.
