This book is dedicated to young Jewish children both girls and boys. This book tells the story of Adam who is the main character of this book, he was created to represent young Jewish children. The story is meant to share the importance and significance of the Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah.
Adam Abrams is a young boy who is turning 13. As a young Jewish boy this means Adam will be having a Bar Mitzvah which symbolizes him becoming a man and being able to make his own decisions
In order to prepare for the Bar Mitzvah Adam must attend ceremonies within the synagogue and participate willingly by reading from the Torah.
In addition to attending synagogue practices, Adam will need to attend classes that will help him prepare and understand further about his celebration
As Adam is doing what he must for his Bar Mitzvah, his mother May and father John are getting treats, ordering and preparing food for his special day.
