AAAAAAND The Pitch.....
Bob, according to Newton's First law, the object will stay at rest until acted upon by a force
So, the ball will not move until the pitcher throws the ball.
And the pitch with the bases loaded...
Bob, that homerun occurred because of Newton's second law. Acceleration is directly proportional to the net force.
So, the batter swung the bat with enough force to hit the ball over the fence!
Hit deep to center field. GOING, GOING, GONE!
OHH a wild pitch!
The third law is that every action has a reaction. The ball hit the fence, and the fence reacted by pushing back on the ball and not letting it through.
Bob, that ball stayed in play because of Newton's third law.
