Storyboard Text

  • I've taken my orders and bricked up this house infested with peasants who've caught the plague.
  • When the government was notified of houses containing 'infected' people, they sent the knights out to brick up the houses. They thought this would help stop spread the plague...it didn't.
  • The Lord Mayor made a series of orders to regulate people behaviours and to clean the refuse,or garbage, from the streets.  The bedding of the dead had to be aired by a fire and perfumed before used again. No animals were to be kept within the city, including pigs, cats, dogs, pigeons or rabbits. All street performers were banned from the city, including bear-baiting and plays.
  • Lord Mayor's Rules
  • The King, Pope and most nobles fled their homes to try and avoid getting the plague. This left kingdoms ungoverned...
  • Come on let's go! We don't want to get the plague, do we?!
  • No Master!
  • When the King and his servants fled, they left the kingdom unattended to. This meant that rulers from other kingdoms could come and take over and rule how they wanted.
  • I love this new kingdom! Luckily the King fled because he didn't want the plague otherwise we would be stuck in our old kingdom. Our old one was so old and boring. But dear we must be careful; we don't want the plague!
  • The Hierarchy crumbled, this allowed peasants to move up and get better jobs.
