Storyboard Description

Matthew Dorang, 3rd period. This story portrays the story of Odysseus and Polyphemus. In which Odysseus and his crew encounter Polyphemus. After trying to get Polyphemus to give gifts to Odysseus, Polyphemus killed some of his men. In response to this, Odysseus and several of his men blinded Polyphemus. After the blinding of Polyphemus, Odysseus and his crew escaped by sneaking out underneath Polyphemus's sheep. During the escape, Odysseus told Polyphemus his name, his father's name, and the name of his home, Ithaca. In response to this, Polyphemus prayed to Poseidon to curse Odysseus so that Odysseus never see his crew, Ithaca, or his wife, Penelope.
